My wife had questions. My friends had questions. People I hadn't heard from in years had questions. All about AI, and all the same at heart. What is this thing? Is it safe? What do I type? Am I behind?

You are not behind. Nobody explained it to you yet. That's the whole gap.

I've spent 30 years in IT, fixing networks, servers, and security messes. Explaining technology in plain English is what I've done for a living since the nineties. Not dumbing it down. Translating it. There's a difference, and you can feel it when you read something written with respect.

So that's what RunLevel Studio sells. Guides you can finish in one evening. Prompt sheets you can print and stick on the fridge. Safety rules you can hand a nine-year-old. Every guide answers a question a real person actually asked me.

I use AI to help build these, then I edit every line myself. That feels honest to say out loud, so I'm saying it.

What's on the shelves

Everything in this shop answers a question someone actually asked me. The products fall into two shelves.

The first shelf is for beginners. Plain-English guides that explain AI the way a neighbor would, in one evening. Printable prompt sheets you can stick on the fridge and use at dinner. A family safety kit with house rules for kids and chatbots, and a talk guide by age. Prompt packs for busy parents: meal plans, school emails, family schedules. Copy, paste, done. Every guide starts at zero and ends with you using the thing tonight. And each one closes with a glossary of the real technical names, for the day you want to go deeper.

The second shelf is coming, and it's for the people who fix things. Runbooks, checklists, and troubleshooting sheets from 30 years of server rooms. If you carry a pager or a ticket queue, that shelf is being written for you. The name RunLevel is a small joke for those folks. If you know, you know.
